Hi,
I am very interested in hybrids of Australian finches and other exotic finches. I am especially interested in photos of hybrids and any information on their maintenance and behavior.
I speak English and Italian but not Portuguese but can use Google translator if necessary. Thank you.

Hi,as you know there exists a big variety of Australian finches.....what specie do you refer too?To see fotos of hybrids just clic where it says HIBRIDOS.

Sorry if I'm in the wrong place on this site.
First of all: my name is Felix, from USA, age 50.
I have looked at all the photos in the hybrids section. They are fantastic!
I have never created hybrids but have a great interest on the subject.
I have raised European Goldfinches (Carduelis carduelis), Zebra Finches (Taeniopygia guttata), Gouldian Finches (Erythrura gouldiae), Star Finches (Neochmia ruficauda), Shaft-tail Finches (Poephila acuticauda), Society Finches (Lonchura striata [domestica]) and Canaries (Serinus canaria), as well as Conures (Aratinga solstitialis) and Kakarikis (Cyanoramphus novaezelandiae) in the past.
Right now I am just interested in photos and information on hybrids of any of the following genera:
Aegitha, Emblema, Poephila, Neochmia, Lonchura, Aidemosyne and Erythrura.

I am a begginer and probably not the right persone to help.
In this forum it´s not easy to find "docs"about 1 espicific espicies,and about hibrids....here people post fotos,make questions or give ideas to each other...
Maybe,if you translate your questions,I´m sure someone more experienced will help.

I don't speak Portuguese but this website is very interesting. It's a lot of fun just to look through the different subjects and photos posted. I use Google translator and it gives me a good idea of what's being discussed.
